TURN OF THE CENTURY WOODWORKING

	Here is a headboard made for a couple in Oak Park Illinois. It's made of solid oak and oak ply with sliding panels.
And here is a closeup of one of the sliding panels. The outline of the cattails were routed into the solid oak, then stained green and brown. The rest of the headboard was left natural and then a laquer finish of three coats was applied.
